This policy explains what personal information RJStar Cleaning Services collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We wrote it in plain language. If anything is unclear, contact us.

What we collect
When you ask for a quote. The quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of space, the service you want, a message about your space, and the language of the page you used.
When you call or email us. Your phone number or email address, and what you tell us.
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies. This site uses only the cookies below. It doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies today. If that changes, they will only load if you allow them, and we will update this table and ask for your consent again.

Why we use it
We use your information only to respond to your request, prepare and send your quote, schedule and provide the cleaning you book, and communicate with you about it. Technical information is used only to run the site and keep it secure. We don't sell your personal information or use it for any other purpose without your consent.
Who we share it with, and where it's stored
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the quote form. Netlify stores and processes data in the United States.
- Google provides our email (Gmail). Quote requests are forwarded to our Gmail inbox, and emails you send us are stored there. Google may store and process data outside Canada.
This means your personal information may be stored or processed outside Quebec and Canada, where different privacy laws apply. We share only what these providers need to deliver their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for one month at most, then delete them. Other personal information is kept only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- correct it if it's wrong or incomplete
- withdraw your consent
- delete your information
- receive your information in a structured, commonly used technology format (data portability)
To exercise any of these rights, email info@rjstarclean.com. We respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
